Benbrook Music Academy is Benbrook's and Fort Worth's most caring music school, teaching hundreds of students from ages 5 to adult. We are an Official Family Safety Plan Music School!

In order to keep our students, staff, and teachers safe, we have implemented the Family Safety Plan in our schools! This includes glass windows on lesson rooms to foster transparency between teachers and parents, full-time office staff so that students and teachers are never left unsupervised, requiring extensive background checks of all of our teachers and staff, security cameras in all rooms, and an open-door policy for parents, which means that they’re always invited to sit in on their child’s lessons. We are the only school in Benbrook that offers all of these popular instruments: Piano, Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Drum set, Voice, Singing, and Violin in one location. While many students enrolled elsewhere have to drive from school to school for lessons, we can serve the entire family with a variety of musical interests in ONE place.

Benbrook Music Academy has a proven track record of offering quality music, piano, guitar, voice, singing, drum and violin lessons in Benbrook year-round. Instead of waiting in a music retail store showroom, our clients enjoy a spacious, professional parent's lounge with comfortable chairs, high tables for eating or working and a playground for siblings. We also provide observation windows on every door so that you can watch your child's lesson while you wait. Or if you prefer you can sit in on their lesson anytime you like.

6. Fully stocked music lesson rooms in Benbrook

Our rooms are fully stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including keyboards, pianos, amps, speakers, drum kits, music stands and more. All you need to bring is your instrument.

Technology is also a big part of lessons at the Benbrook Music Academy. Teachers usually use laptops, tablets and mobile devices for teaching. This allows students to have a modern and engaging lesson using music teaching apps, music software, Skype, and more. Feel free to "Bring Your Own Device" to your lesson in addition to your instrument!

One of the things that has really set up apart is our focus on providing lessons that are fresh, new, and engaging. There are so many great teaching apps available now that we felt the need to update our pedagogy by integrating technology. By doing so, our students have never run the risk of being bored by their lessons. It's a challenge to engage children or adults, but by integrating technology such as teaching apps from the iTunes store, GarageBand, ProTools, you name it, we're providing a cutting edge lesson experience in the Benbrook area.

7. Free music recitals in family-friendly venues with NO participation fees!

Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it is to have their child participate in a recital.

In January and June many of our students choose to perform in our biannual recitals. We hold these at local and family-friendly venues such as Trinity Hills Baptist Church as they have world class and welcoming facilities. We even provide a red carpet and step and repeat banner to make it fun!

Unlike other schools, parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for these recitals.

8. Professional office staff available seven days a week to serve you

We are the only music school in Benbrook that offers full-time professional customer service for our students seven days a week by their owners. Many music studio desks are staffed by personnel with no musical background, while the owner works miles away from the studio. At Benbrook Music Academy, we have two teacher/owners who are actively involved in the operations of the academy and available to assist our clients quickly and professionally.

9. Trophies, certificates, and award wristbands to celebrate achievement

We are the only music school in Benbrook that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces (see pictures to the left) by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder®” wristbands that they can show off to their friends. The Musical Ladder® is our unique method of music education that you can only get here.

10. Make-up lessons

Missed a lesson? Out of town? No problem. Just sign up for our make up classes. They never expire, and you can come when it's convenient for you.

11. Early morning and lunch time lessons for home schoolers, retirees, college students and working professionals

Since we are the fastest-growing school in Benbrook, we are able to be a 'full service' music school. This allows us to offer lessons as early as 9 a.m. If you are a homeschool parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots.

Due to its location, our school is convenient to all areas of Benbrook. Close to our Academy, you will find parks, great groceries, dining and all neighborhoods of Benbrook. Our location is convenient to and we have many students from Southwest Fort Worth, Aledo, Godley, White Settlement, Crowley, and Burleson among other near-by cities.

13. Picture Day

We are the only music school in Benbrook that offers a picture day for their students! Once a year, we host a free picture day with a professional photographer. We want to celebrate your music and share that memory through pictures. Examples pictured on this page! Adults are welcome too! Students can bring their instruments to the photo shoot and wear whatever they like.

14. Month to Month lessons

Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of music. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime! To stop lessons, we just need a 15 day notice.
